I want to thank you all for purchasing our combo tickets! We have over 1,200 registrants. At this time, I only send emails to the first 1,000 registrants. I promise the rest of the others will be getting our newsletters as soon as possible.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

ATTENTION: URGENT MESSAGE:

Our registration committee has been working hard to keep accurate information of everyone in our file. Since the 2009 DSA Conference in Las Vegas, many people were having problem with their

866 VP numbers. Please help us update our information by sending us your current VP number (not the 866). If you have moved, changed your e-mail and/or pager addresses, please do send that to us as well. Send all information to Teri-Lyn Calhoun at webmaster@dsa2011-chicago.org

To have all correct information in our data base will enable us to send you all the registration kit by late summer/early fall.

We greatly appreciate your help on this request.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

I would like to share something about DSA Membership (these are already posted on our FAQ’s section of the web site):

Q: If I purchased a combo ticket for DSA 2011 Chicago Conference, is my DSA membership due included?

A: Yes it is included. Your DSA membership does NOT start until the DSA 2011 Chicago Conference. It will expire at the DSA 2013 Baltimore Conference. To stay up to date with DSA till the DSA 2011 Conference, we encourage you to join DSA now. Their newsletter will have our most recent conference information in it!

Q: How much does it cost for the DSA membership dues?

A: It is $20 dollars (per person) for two years: from conference to conference which is always held in the odd numbered year.

Q: How do I pay for the dues?

A: Click here to go to Deaf Seniors of America's Membership web page. Print the form. Fill out the form and mail it with the check of $20 (per person) to Joe Rose (DSA Treasurer).

Q: What are the DSA membership benefits?

A: You will receive quarterly newsletters "New Horizons". There may be periodic new release through the web site.

There will be a list of registrants in each state on our web site as soon as possible (this month). You will check and find out if your friends are going or not!! If you don’t find them listed, check back again as we’ll be adding more names. While waiting for us to update that page, please DO convince them to join us by sending in their combo soon.

Please check our web site: www.dsa2011-Chicago.org to read our updates.

In our next newsletter, we will explain about Sheraton Hotel and the room reservations. You

will have all details!

Talk to you in three weeks!!!

Pammie
