The
DSA 2011 Chicago Conference Workshop Committee is seeking creative
proposals offering motivating, exciting and informative workshop
presentations for its 11th Biennial DSA Conference.
Innovative proposals are to focus on the conference theme “We, the
People.” Workshops will either be 1¼ hrs or 2 hours at length.
Proposals may focus on information, skill development,
advocacy/leadership, technology, legal issues, comedy/fun/leisure,
health/medical, family genealogy, financial planning, Deaf/CODA
relations and community resources.
Proposals may either be in a 1¼ hour presentation or panel session
format OR a two hour interactive workshop session.
Conference attendees, who are Deaf, hard of hearing, Deaf-blind, come
from all walks of life, of all ages and backgrounds, from across USA. As
of February 25, 2011, over 1,400 have registered for DSA 2011-Chicago, and
more are registering each week.
