Call for Papers

The DSA 2011 Chicago Conference Workshop Committee is seeking creative proposals offering motivating, exciting and informative workshop presentations for its 11^th Biennial DSA Conference.  Innovative proposals are to focus on the conference theme “We, the People.” Workshops will either be 1¼ hrs or 2 hours at length. Proposals may focus on information, skill development, advocacy/leadership, technology, legal issues, comedy/fun/leisure, health/medical, family genealogy, financial planning, Deaf/CODA relations and community resources.

Proposals may either be in a 1¼ hour presentation or panel session format OR a two hour interactive workshop session.

Conference attendees, who are Deaf, hard of hearing, Deaf-blind, come from all walks of life, of all ages and backgrounds, from across USA. As of February 25, 2011, over 1,400 have registered for DSA 2011-Chicago, and more are registering each week.
